4) Armageddon range is so tiny that in order to hit shit you have to get almost in melee range. yeah you can barely kill fire immunes on p1 - great job Blizzard.

3) "you can now do physical damage too" this is complete BS. 2) everyone and their mothers has fire resistance or immunity, so the damage doesn't scale as much as other elemental types. except with infinity, which 95% of the players will never get. 1) you can't get more than -30% enemy fire res. There are so many problems with this character that I didn't know before. So, damage wise while it can get higher we're getting into very expensive gear territory. I have 99fcr, lvl 31 Armageddon + maxed synergies, and -30% enemy fire res. I don't really need insight, so what should I use on my merc until Infinity (which I probably won't ever get)? Reaper's Toll? A different RW? Seems like this build should put out around 10k physical melee damage plus almost that much in fire damage and bonus phys damage from Armageddon.ĮDIT: additional question: I've got an A2 Might merc for the melee dmg boost. Rings: dual leech, Raven's frost, and/or Bul Katho's (some combo)Ĭharms: anni, torch, max dmg / AR, resists as needed, run/walk War Travs (for MF + phys melee damage) or Gore Rider longterm Gloves: Venom Grip currently, Laying of Hands perhaps for meleeīelt: String of Ears (melee) vs Arachnid's Mesh (skills/ele)īooties: Aldur's currently. Other gear besides Earth Shifter (with a Shael rune):Ĭhest: Que-Hagan's right now, but can obviously do better. The biggest downside is putting 253 points into strength to meet the hammer's requirements, but I think we should be able to still get to like 4000 life in werewolf form to make up for that lost Vitality in human form.ġ in Fissure (it only adds duration to Armageddon) This got me thinking about hybrid melee/fire builds, notably a werewolf Fury + Armageddon build using this weapon. a beastly 2h-hammer with like 800 max damage and +7 to elemental skills. Then an Earth Shifter maul plopped onto the ground.

So I started a fire/elemental Druid build, and I'm by no means fully kitted out, but am level 85 and had fire skills all at lvl 30 (except still plugging Firestorm) and wasn't super impressed with clear speed or damage.
